Unusual Asymmetrical 1971 Bulova Accutron 218 Date - Day in Heavy 18K EP - $169 Feb 26, 2009 - 03:13 PM
Here's one you won't see every day! It's a 1971 (N1) Bulova Accutron 218 in heavy 18K gold electro-plate. It features an asymmetrical case and the most unusual dial I've ever seen on an Accutron.

The gold-tone dial has a minute register in orange (!), with red at the five-minute markings; also at the five-minute markings are polished metal blocks, tipped in red. Off-set by red hands, this is dial quite startling! There is a date - day aperture at 3 o'clock, with the information in red to match the dial motif.

The watch is signed five times: movement, dial, case, crown, and bracelet. The bracelet will fit a wrist of about 7 1/2".

Keeping good time, it is ready to wear.

Over-all good-plus condition.

$169 plus actual carriage.
