The Benrus Type I or II is one of just a very few dive watches issued during the Vietnam War to Navy Seals, UDT divers and Special Forces Personnel. They were produced from 1969 up to around 1978. Our watch is a near perfect tribute to that classic timepiece. Unlike other homages to the Benrus watch - all of the case parts on our watch can be used as direct replacements on the original watch. Like the original watch, a distinguishing feature is its front-loading, asymmetrical case with solid, non-removable lug bars for strap attachment. An extra crystal and a black NATO strap is included with the watch. Here are the Specs on this rare tribute.
